Our Story
"Since 1906..."
The Christchurch Bird Club was established in 1906 and is a non-profit organisation formed to foster the keeping, breeding and exhibiting of all varieties of domestic cage birds. The controlling body is the New Zealand Federation of Bird Clubs (Inc.) of which we are one of 53 Clubs and Societies within New Zealand and has over 2000 members.
The Christchurch Bird Club has some 90 members and meets monthly in the Cotswold Preschool 37 Colesbury Ave on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm (7.30pm in summer).

NATIONAL SHOW - HORNBY, CHRISTCHURCH
Join us for the up and coming national show held at the Hornby Club, Christchurch, 8025. Even if you are not showing you are more than welcome and we hope that as many of you as possible can join in with the social events.
- Friday night get together 7:30pm to 11pm upstairs on the mezzanine floor.
- Saturday evening awards presentation & dinner with back ground entertainment, tickets required & can be purchased from Kevin Crossen.
- Sunday morning tea hosted by "TOPFLITE" the shows national sponsor.
